Although, according to the Bible, a dead person is just dead and waiting for the resurrection, hell surely plays a role as the place where the godless people are sent to on judgment day. The devout people are going to heaven, to a place where dead and suffering do not exist <p> Especially in Christianity and Islam we often come across the word 'hell'. According to these religions the soul of a dead person goes to the hereafter. A higher power decides whether a soul has to go to heaven or hell. At that moment you get the score for how you led your life. Oh yes, your devoutness, honesty and purity determine the road ... to heaven or hell ?! <p> Zo goed als het is in de hemel, zo verschrikkelijk is het in de hel. In de hemel kan je genieten van een verblijf in de aanwezigheid van God, in de hel heb je het warm gezelschap van de duivel.
